Foot Models?????

I got a call one day from Northstar Surgical Center asking if Annabelle would like to be in a photo shoot in their new mail out pamphlet. Of course, I said "sure". I knew that she would have a picture made with a doctor, and possibly one made of her feet. So I guess, Annabelle and I are officially foot models. Hee. Hee.

I had to go to work after the photo shoot, so I had my work clothes on, and in the back of my mind, I was thinking, "surely I won't have to be in the photo...surely!" Of course, Annabelle wouldn't leave momma, so that is why I am in the photos too. So glad that I had a pedicure the weekend before, because the feet next to Annabelle's are mine.

Belle also got to have her picture made with Dr. Scioli, who is such a sweet person. He was the doctor that did Bryan's foot surgery in 2007.

Anyways, sorry the pictures are bad. I obviously just took a picture of the pamphlet.

Belle and her "Brothers"

Thought this was a cute picture of Annabelle being Belle from the Disney movie Beauty and The Beast.

She has her high heels on too!

Since Belle is an only child, she calls Casey and Spencer (aka Spen-ter) her brothers. As you can see from the pictures below, they really are like family. The boys did such a good job posing for the picture, but Annabelle was obviously mid drink, then when she is ready, they run. Annabelle's position is like she is saying, "geez!". Too cute. We love our brothers.

Like Chicken Nuggets?

A few days ago, I was telling Annabelle about when she was a baby. I told her how I would hold her all day long and kiss her so many times, that Daddy and I would try to guess how many hundreds of times she was kissed that day.

Anyways, I ended up asking Annabelle, "did you know that before you were born, you were in mommy's tummy?" She gave me the strangest look and said, "like a chicken nugget, mommy?" I laughed and said "yeah, kind of". She thought that over for a minute then said, "mommy, why did you eat me?" Bryan and I busted out laughing. What a cute little thought. I guess it makes sense. She says the funniest things.

Daddy's Girl

I just wanted to do a little post about Annabelle's Daddy, Bryan. She absolutely ADORES him, and he adores her even more. This little pair is hilarious.

Bryan is so cute with her. He does ANYTHING that she wants him to do. The other night, Annabelle wanted to be a cowboy, so she dashed into her playroom and grabbed us all "cowboy hats". Obviously these don't resemble cowboy hats at all, but Bryan gladly put his hat on and smiled for the camera. Bryan got the most girly of the hats, but he was thrilled to be included.

Bryan always participates in the soccer playing, tea parties, cooking lessons, train playing, doll playing or anything else Princess Annabelle wants him to do. This is a GREAT Daddy! Thanks so much, Bryan! We love you!

SANTA CAME!!!!

We were blessed with such a wonderful Christmas this year. Annabelle truly enjoyed this Christmas season, and was understanding quite a bit about Santa. I don't think that it totally clicked until she woke up Christmas morning and saw everything that she had received. We enjoyed watching her excitement (and her cute bed hair) as she played with everything she received.

Annabelle was brought a variety of items. She received a Thomas the Train set and a train table (which she absolutely LOVES, even though she is a girl), she got an American Girl Bitty Baby doll and the start-up kit (which she is totally in love with...we bring our Bitty Baby everywhere we go), she got lots of kitchen stuff like a mixer, a cake decorating set and sliceable fruits and vegetables, which is really cute...mommy enjoys this a bunch, she got some dress up clothes, Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story and last, but certainly not least "The Puppy that Swims"...this little puppy is what Annabelle would always ask Santa for when she saw him, or rather before we saw him and were not crying yet. She loves EVERYTHING that Santa gave her. I guess Swiper the elf reported everything to Santa correctly. (Swiper was our Elf on a Shelf...by the way...that little guy was invaluable!!!!!! Best $30 I have spent in awhile!)

The picture of our tree is kind of a funny story. 1st off...since the move to our rent house, we were not able to find quite a few things that have always been present on our tree. For one, the tree topper is missing, the tree skirt is missing, towards the top of the tree, some lights are out, and notice that our stockings are under something heavy on the mantel, because I couldn't find our stocking holders. It was really pretty funny, but we did make a good attempt at finding all the boxes that said "Christmas". Also, I couldn't find our box with all of our wrapping items, so I didn't have clear tape, tissue paper, wrapping paper, no bags or tags...NOTHING! So, this year I decided that since I am an accountant, and a type A personality, I would color code all of our presents under the tree. Therefore, all the red presents are for our family of 3, the green presents were for my family, and the gold presents were for Bryan's family...yes...I guess I am that anal. Anyways, we had a great time, and so many memories were made.

By the way...Mommy must have been really good too, because she received a new Gucci purse that is absolutely FABULOUS!!!! Nothing brings a smile to a girls face than to see a present wrapped by Neiman Marcus...ahhhhhhh! All smiles! Thanks, Bryan! I will post a picture, as that present probably deserves its own post!

The Polar Express - Take 2!

O.K...so I came up with a SUPER GREAT idea we should get all the kids in Bryan's family matching PJs for the Bennett Polar Express Ride. I first approached Uncle Brandy about the idea, and he was pretty enthusiastic! I was surprised, so I hinted at the idea to Bryan, and since Brandy was in, so was Bryan!

I got to order everyone these adorable Hanna Anderson PJs and they looked so cute on everyone! The boys wore green and and the girls wore red. Although horizontal stripes are not supposed to good for the body image, I thought they turned out super cute!




Annabelle's cousins, Harrison and Ella, went with us, and everyone had a BALL! Annabelle absolutely adores her cousins. We talk about going to see them nearly everyday. They are the sweetest kids and they have a great time when we are all together. Ella is only 6 months younger than Annabelle, so they bond really quickly!
